Construction Estimator-Billings MT
MaCon Supply Inc. is currently looking for a hardworking, Construction estimator to join our team! Our Estimator will be a vital team member who will play a crucial part in our overall sales. This individual will bring a high level of accuracy and productivity to helps us ensure the right products get to the right place at the right time. Your responsibility will be to estimate the work of specific projects, gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. You will prepare cost estimates for product manufacturing, construction projects, or services to aid management in bidding on or determining the price of the product or service.
Construction Estimator duties and responsibilities
- Proficiently read and interpret blueprints and technical documents in order to prepare estimates..
- Maintain all subcontractor documents and a subcontractor list
- Provide detailed pricing to review with manager and clients
- Review and prepare bid/estimate package to meet deadlines
- Explore documentation to gain a deep understanding of the project requirements.
- Select, measure, and track important metrics.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with the key vendors
Working with the computer programs such as (Plans Exchange and ProCore)
Preferred Skills/Abilities:
- Experienced in construction, concrete/masonry /flatwork/forming.
- Project management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Critical-thinker and problem-solver
- Strong phone skills
- Detailed oriented and organized
- Must be a self-starter and able to work independently as well as in a group.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.

Hours operation Monday-Friday 8 am -5 pm
Valid driver’s license
- Salary $35,000 plus DOE and possible bonus opportunities!
